Default best/cheapest place to get a kit of assorted electrical connectors?

ie, butt connectors, spade terminals, ring terminals, etc. etc. of varying gauge sizes? my dad has this "kit" that he bought and it's in a plastic case, with all assorted goodies. but, it's 11pm and I can't really ask him now, and for some reason I'm wondering if any online sites will have em (or maybe on ebay??)

Thanks.

Default You can usually find a 'kit' like that at autmotive parts stores, Sears, Radio Shack etc. However,

I've found over the years that buying these kits is expensive and usually yeilds too few of the items you'll use and too many of items you'll never use. I would suggest going to your local electronics supply store (Radio Shack if that is all that is available) or failing that, Home Depot or Lowes. They will have the solderless connectors in individual packaging so you can purchase more closely to what you'll actually use. You'll also be abe to score some shrink tube ...

Default good deal...

I just know that my dad's kit was incredibly handy. It turns out it had every connector I needed, with the exception of some ring terminals which ended up being $2 at my hardware store.

Thanks! ;-)
