better motor mounts for V6 30V??
I've searched but can only find info on upgraded mounts for the 1.8T.
Does anyone make upgraded/stiffer motor mounts for the 2.8 30V (meaning side mounts, not snub mount)? If so, is it worth getting them?
My motor mounts are shot and dealer is going to replace them under warranty (got 6k miles left!!) =)

V6 motor mounts are pretty good hydraulic units that last a long time; however, . . .
the tranny mounts are rubber and get beat-up pretty fast.
If you do a search in the 12v Development Forum, you will find a write-up that Mance Etheredge did on adapting the Allroad's beefy hydraulic tranny mounts to the B5 chassis. This mod should result in better vibration absorbtion yet longer life from the mounts.
That's on my list of To-Do's!
