Bleeding radiator
Does anyone know where the bleeding screw is on an A4 '96? I was told that it is located under the expansion tank but I couldn't find it. I believe that I have an air pocket in my heater's radiator.

It is under the expansion tank, it is an allen head, in the metal pipe.
Unscrew the tank, lift it up a little, and look down right between the firewall and the driver's side cyl head.
Also, make sure you bleed out the feed line to the heater core, by sliding it off of the barb a little.
What are your symptoms?

WHEN I'M ON THE HIGHWAY, THE TEMPERATURE DOESN'T GO ABOVE 65 DEGREES. IN THE CITY, IT COULD GO UP TO 90 BUT AS SOON AS I DRIVE FOR A LONG STRECH, IT FALLS BACK DOWN AT 65 AND THE TEMPERATURE INSIDE THE CAR IS NOT THAT WARM.

Re: Sounds like a bad thremostat to me.. An air pocket would mean no heat in the car (usually)..
I forgot to say this but when accelarate, I hear bubbles in my dash. All this started when I changed my ECT sensor. Before that, everything was OK. Actually, there is very little hot air that comes in the car. Do you think that it could still be the thermostat?
