Default blown shocks?

<center><img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/27631/dsc00010.jpg"></center><p>
what are the symptons of a blown shock? cuz i have bilsteins for less than a yr and have 6000 miles max on them... today when i was gonna switch springs w/ a friend, i notice one shock had a lot of dust and grime on it due to the sticky oil, iono if its blown or not, i looked at the bilstein site and they say its normal.

here is the site i was looking at http://www.bilstein.com/warranty2.html

i did some searching and ppl seem to use a someone accurate bounce test method, after i pushed the rear end, it would bounce back up, dip down a lil, and bouce up slightly, is this normal? and i'll post a pic to see what u guys think of the shock, thanx

and here are some pix of the shocks, plz help me out thanx

Damned escape sequences will get you every time.

Default Koni told me that a little leakage is normal and that

a blown shock is very noticeable. Hope it's true rather than think they were trying to avoid a warranty claim.
