Body Kits and Snow ... Poll?
For all those with Sport Suspensions and added body kits (Chin spoilers, rocker panels, rear valance, Lower front bumpers ....) how are you managing with the recent snow conditions. I'm considering the ABT kit and was wondering if it's too low and supseptable to damage from chunks of ice and slush. How much of ground clearance do you lose over the non kitted A4s.
This doesn't apply to A4 drivers in the warmer climes ofcourse .... oooooo I hate you guys right now.

I thought about the same dilema...
My Borla exhaust seems to hit ice chunks quite a bit already. I don't think I will be lowering the ground effects much more than they already are. I am going to look into the practicality of using coilovers to change the hieght for summer and winter, just like I do with my tires.

Not so great...
Well, after the latest storm up here in the MA area, I realized that having a lowered car with a body kit makes you unable to function without having to worry about what may be around the corner. I have a full body kit w/ H&R Race and Bilstein Sports and the ground clearance isn't anything to laugh at in the winter. I would say that you just need to be carefull if you do get one in the winter. Coming around a corner and hitting a big chunk of ice in the road can kill any of the body kit at any time. I am willing to take the chance as I LOVE the look of the car now.
