I just got an email from my gf who works on 53rd and Lex and she said that some of the buildings in midtown are being evacuated...

are these bomb threats the real deal? there's nothing on cnn.com about them.

i am assuming they are just bull****.

anyone know anything?

I work in the met life building above grand central. I believe they evacuated the surrounding buildings. I made it home, but I should have never went to work.

If you're interested, you can listen to the NYPD police scanner at www.policescanner.com. You can hear 10-33 which is bomb threat quite a bit. Heard 53rd was clear.
