boost issues
I'm new the european car scene spent alot of time moding hondas which got boring.
heres my issue i got a 97 a4 quattro 1.8 minor mods full exhaust 2 3/4 hfc and a nuespeed intake forge diverter. i'm in the process of setting up a manual boost controller and boost guage boost gauge is t'ed in at the mani and fuel pressure regulator which is a normal spot. the boost solenoid is removed but still pluged in the controller is between intake side and the wastegate where it should be and is setup correctly my question is, is there another way audi controls boost pressure cuz no matter wat i set the controller at the car only does 6 lbs. the car is an automatic so i notice spikes when it shifts and i assume its due to vacuum from the trans. and btw what is factory boost if i could get an idea to my problem would be very helpful
