Boost leak?

Boost leak?
If i dont own a boost gauge, how can i diagnose if i have a vacuum/boost leak or a broken wastegate?
Will vag-com detect any of these things? Does the dealer have any tests it can aside from opening up the engine and looking?
Thanks.

log block 115 at WOT in 2nd, 3rd and 4th
the third column is requested, 4th is actual. You want these numbers to be pretty close to each other. (within 20-30 mbars i'd say) - if they aren't, you might have a leak somewhere.

huh? are these vag-com commands?
Sorry, Im new at this and do not currently own a vag-com, although i will in the near future.
I suppose my real question is can i assess the condition of my turbo/vacuum hoses and whether it is running properly simply by pluging in a vag-com and running a test?
Thanks again.
