Boost Line

Boost Line
So when I was changing my BPV a couple weeks ago, it looks like my boost line was torn open by some fan. Its the line coming from the turbo to the BPV. There is some clamp that attaches to the line from the turbo, but this line is before the clamp. What is it, and what is it gonna run me? Thanks.

are you talking about the elbow like rubber one or the thin (5mm?) line comming from the WG?
I just looked under the hood and without getting too deep those were the only two I saw.
The L shaped one had two hose clamps one around the turbo and one around the BPV.
Id imagine less than 20 bucks for the L shaped one and like less than a dollar for the 5mm or so line given the length.

Not the 5mm one, thats the vaccuum. Theres 3 lines that connect to the BPV. One is the vaccuum, I forget where the other goes, and this one is all curvy and if you feel it evenentually connects to the turbo. I had to take it to a shop because I wouldnt know where or how to begin. I'm a novice, and don't wanna mess near the turbo.

The only other line that isn't the 5mm boost line connects to the air intake duct, and never touches the turbo, and based on your description it rules that one out.
Can someone hook this guy up with a PN from ETKA? The line in question is in the Bently Manual page B 21-6 item 15 (assuming you engine code is AEB or ATW) If your engine code is AWM its on C 21-5 item 14.
There is really no sense in paying a mechanic for something like this. If you have the most basic of tools you can do this one. The line comes off the turbo by loosening the hose clamp, same with the BPV, just loosen the hose clamp. Don't let its location near the turbo freak you out.
