Boost Question
Hey Everyone,
On our stock K03 Turbo's whats the maximum amount of boost that we can run safely without risking to do any permanent damage such as blowing up the turbo or engine? Thanks.

depends on fuel and air, efficeincy of the turbo, and all that good fun stuff.
Go read a physics book.
Max on a K03 that I would run (and I do!)= 1.45 bar at peak. The turbo is just really burning up and weezing at that point/any higher.

Your boost is limited because you have the smaller K03
the ndbw came with a smaller version of the K03 then the 2000+. You are also limited because of the small stock 240cc injectors in the ndbw, the dbw came with 270cc injectors. Your ndbw also has limits on the maf 186ms vs the 215 ms on the dbw and injector pulse of 16.32ms vs the 35ms of the dbw. So the max boost level for the ndbw might be around 18psi, where as I ran 20psi at the track and 24psi on the street with my 2000 K03.
