Borbet Type E owners BEWARE...........water in centercaps.

I have the Es, and took them off to swap rims with my wife's A4....and each center cap had about 2 oz of water in each! Rust everywhere around the hub. So I drilled a couple drain holes in each center cap. Somehow water gets in, and stays in.

Thanks Christian, the type Ts are on my short list for the spring...

...So I'll have to do some research to determine
if they have the same problem!

my Ronal LZs do that too, put a thin coat of grease on the hub too

If you get them.......

And you want Audi center caps for them, what I did was order them with the plastic center caps, then made a sticker that goes over it. STicker is a silver background with black rings. I'll give you some if you get the rims. You can kinda see what I mean in my sig pic.
