Which Borla is better?

Default Which Borla is better?

Which Borla is quieter and better performance. Or if they are the same in performance, which is quieter?

One is from Evolution Motorsports, the other is from AWE Tuning.

It should be the same, with V2 muffler.

Default both should be V2...so should be the same...

i dont think Borla would make V1 anymore.

Default Hey Justin Question for you...

How is your Labree test pipe. I was looking at their website, and saw they have that, and was wondering how it sounded, and how much of a difference it made performace wise. Did it throw any codes?

Default well...

you can hear the turbo more, and i have had an interesting sound since i installed (had it in and out 2 times since i got it) it sounds almost like an exhaust leak (might have a little leak at the 2nd oxygen sensor or a gasket), and its deff not pinging (did data logs and knock sensors look fine and no timing is being pulled), it starts when i get into boost. i think its the wastegate opening and closing to controll boost, you can only hear it with the wndow down so its not annoyingly loud. Overall the car is definetly louder with the test pipe vs the cat. I threw a "catalist below threshold" or somthing liek that code when i got the test pipe, i got a pony express MIL eliminator (mines actualy for a mazda/ford but it has same color wires) and the "below threshold" code is gone, but i ahve an intermittent short circuit code for the rear 02 sensor, so i think its shot, or one of my splices is crappy, gunna pull it apart and re-do it, if that dosent work im just going to buy another rear 02 sensor and do the trick where you stack 2 spark plug "non-fowlers" and basicaly space the sensor out of the main stream of exhaust and trick it into thinking there is less emissions. as for gains, i dont know, there has to be some there, im noticeably faster than my buddys 180TTQ also with dahlback chip, borla exhaust, injen intake (he likes to copy me lol). but i dont know if thats because hes DBW (sucks, i love having a throtle cable) or if its because i ahve an earlier AEB engine (bigger ports) but with a later model, slightly bigger K03 sport (lil bigger, used on 170 hp engine) who knows? but i flow 170 m/s at 6000 rpm vs his 150 or so at the same RPM. either way i liek the test pipe, every car i ahve owned has had the cat removed, for the A4 it was because the flange cracked and a test pipe was over $100 cheaper. on my other cars i think it was just to spike tree-huggers...lol.

also, is the apr worth the few hundred extra, what are the differences?
