Tech just pit on my new borla exhaust, i have the older version any difference in tone or sound?

Hmm, don't remember noticing it on the V1.
... but the tips do look better and you'll have sooo much fun seperating the old one... wish I could be there to watch(btdt). Have fun =-)

It just really started after the K04 install..................
Are you saying the the current muffler section has "self welded" itself to the incoming pipe??? I might have to have someone do that for me !!!

Heh, mine was a pita...
Had been on the car 2yrs prior. You could turn the union but you know the unions on the Borlas are maybe 3.5-4" deep and they were really seated toghether. After pulling and twisting with it(in a vise) for about an hour off the car I took it to a muffler shop for some heat.
Nick was down this spring for some driving with K04s and a V1 Borla... I didn't notice it but he was saying it sandblasts too. I think having the Y pipe in the muffler/resonator helps with the noise... but then again I am too slow to sandblast =-)
