BORLA CATBACK EXHAUST FOR '00 AUDI 1.8T (LONG)
IVE BEEN QUOTED $495 OUT THE DOOR. BUT I'VE BEEN TOLD THE PERFORMANCE IS NOT WHAT I'M GOING TO EXPECT AND THE NOISE LEVEL DOESNT COMPLY WITH THE EUROPEAN STYLING THE A4 EMITS. ANYONE OUT THERE HAVE THIS SYSTEM AND HAVE ANY REVIEWS? I WANT REMUS BUT TO MY KNOWLEDGE HAVE NO CATBACK SYSTEM. I'M ALSO PUTTING IN THE GARRET 1.05 CHIP WITHIN A MONTH. BORLA THE WAY TO GO?

Best price is with carparts.com (more)
If you use the coupon which is available in many major auto magazines (Check the latest issue of Automobile Magazine, somewhere towards the front), you'll find a coupon which allows you to take 1/3 off your purchase, with a max of $100. They price the Borla at around $475 - $100 (coupon) and you'll find yourself with the best deal around.
e

Re: BORLA CATBACK EXHAUST FOR '00 AUDI 1.8T (LONG)
Remus offers a cat-back system for the
Audi 1.8T, I believe it comes in a dual
tip or DTM style. Sound is very nice
and deep.
Oettinger also offers an exhaust system
for the 1.8T. More expensive though.

Could you please post a link or more info....
....because everything that I've heard or read about the Remus offerings for the A4 indicated that it was a rear muffler only. Please post more info on their full cat-back system.
