Bose System Questions

Just picked up a '98 A4 2.8q. How can I check that it has the Bose speakers? And why does the system list 5 amps (2@50 fr, 2@25 rear, plus 1@50 for filler panel)???

probably aren't amps but speakers

If you have speakers in the rear door you have the bose system

I dunno about other years, but my 99.5 has a prominent Bose label on each speaker.

Also, the head unit displays "bose" when the car is first started.
