SoCal B6 S4

i installed my bailey bov yesterday, and i had a quick question, I dont hear the excess air release when i shift gears, am i supposed to??
I have a few friends with turbo cars that have aftermarket bov's and the sound is destinct.
am i ok or should i have it checked out?

the A4 has a by-pass valve (diverter valve) rather than a BOV, so the air being released is put back into the intake, rather than into the atmosphere...hence, no sound.

if you get an intake (shunned by some people here) you'll hear the air rushing sound...
