Brake Bleeding/Flush
Is the power bleeder the best/easiest way to bleed the system once i replace my pads? Is it easy? How do i do it?
Also... thise the same way to flush the system with new fluid?
If you can't gravity bleed a few inches because of clogs, just pump. This will work fine if you are only flushing with no bubbles in the system.
The same method can be used for the clutch slave, but a thumb serves as a check valve, and pump the clutch pedal instead of the brake ;-)
I used about a quart and a pint for the entire flush. I prefer Castrol LMA for the street - it lasts longer than the race fluids that some like to use on the street. LMA is originally "Girling Amber" and is obviously Girling approved, and very easy on all seals.
