Default Brake Light while Accelerating

Okay, this may be a dumb question, but I haven't
been able to find an answer by searching the
archives.

Sometimes, when I accelerate very quickly, my
brake light comes on (not the hand-brake light).

Car:
A4, 99.5, no sports

Any ideas? TIA!
Chris D.

Check your brake fluid level.

Default Brake fluid level is fine/ Dealer unsure of problem

The Brake level fluid is fine, and moreover,
the dealership is not sure what the problem is.
Chris D.

Default Similar problem and solution

I would get the brake light when I went over a bump. It turned out that the fluid level was low despite the fact that it was well above the MIN mark in the reservoir. The service dude said that as brakes wear down, the amount of fluid required increases. Thus, you must have the fluid level at higher and higher levels until you replace the pads. When you do that, you may have to ciphon off fluid because less will be required.
