Hey all,
I have a 96 A4. The issue this car is having is simple, and actually the same thing happened in my Golf.
The brake lights are always on! Bad return spring?
When you actually apply preasure to the brake pedal, the front left turn lamp goes on
Also the there is a chime when the door is open and you push the brakes. Tell me this is simple.Please.

Okay so it's possible when I relaced the bulbs in back that I shorted out the assembly. The left parking light up front does come on!
So am I using the wrong bulbs? Or is it possible I would have to replace the entire rear bulb assembly?
