Finally, after years enduring self imposed punishment for having bought an A3 Jetta instead of the all powerful RS2 I have come as close as I'm currently able. Months of your tortuous posts on this forum have manifested themselves in the bright, shiny new '99 Silver/Opal 1.8TQMS Avant sitting outside (I'm back at work after a late pickup from the dealer! @#$) I have read up on the archives and look forward to contributing in some small way to this wonderful group. I envy you. I'm in the middle of ordering an Avant myself (although if you follow the thread below I had a moment of weakness for the S4), and hope to be driving it by July.<p>Enjoy the road.
