I put in an order for an A4 about a month ago (oh I can't wait...), checked the status today and it was in "B" status. I checked the FAQ and there was nothing mentioned about B. Anybody have any idea what this means?

"b" as in being "B"uilt, i dunno though

are you talking about??? i ordered an A4 in late december and all my dealer can tell me is that it still hasn't been assigned a VIN number and that it should be here by the end of march? how do i find out the build status?????

Okay, it might not be a FAQ, but the link below shows the various order status codes which doesn't include the B.

Ask your salesperson. I know the one I deal with here in Toronto has a list of all Audis that have been ordered (for Toronto probably), a code assigned to the vehicle and the build status.<ul><li><a href="https://www.audiworld.com/tech/audi3.shtml">Order Status Code</a></li></ul>
