Can anybody tell me best plugs for 1998 2.8 30v AHA motor
I am going to change plugs .My A4 has about 50k miles and I'm second owner and unsure of some of the service thats been done. It's got the NGK 3 electrode plugs ,which are OEM in it.I've been told that it may run better with the Bosch 3 electrodes but not the Bosch +4 plugs.I've also seen Beru plugs for it.Are any of these better?

Thanks Kenny ,I check them out
I'm a GM dealership parts manager..I can easily get a cross on the the part #s to ND. .I haven't used Nippon Denso much since I got away from Toyota parts 11 yrs ago and Hondas 13 yrs ago.I should be able to get them wholesale at about $5 to $6 a plug.I have a connection at ND in CA in product development,I may have to give him a call. Thanks again.

Re: I run Bosch Platinum 2s. I like 'em, but I've got no other aftermarket comparison.
I've been told that the Bosch Platinum 3 is a better plug than the Platinum 2s but the 4 electrode somehow has adverse affects on the combustion swirl in the 30 valve engine.Engines can be weird sometimes ,such as the Delco rapidfire sparkplug(1st gen) would produce extra horsepower in most domestic engines,4,6 or 8 cyls, but Delco has changed them and the electrode style. One of my friends has a stock car that we put the new style plugs in and it ran like crap.I'm wondering if this is a similiar thing .Newer style stuff doesn't always work in every application.
