they stiffen up the ride. neuspeeds have the clips machined onto the Bilsteins to allow adjustment. Order them from neuspeed.com website.... have any competent shock/strut installer install them if you don't think your up to the task. It's really just shock/spring remove and install. I put them on my non-sport A4, by replacing the stock springs with some Audi stock sport springs, and these shocks. They work OK for the minimal cost i have into the setup. Not optimum by any means, but adequate for my needs. Wife is driving the A4 now and she comments it "turns like it's on a rail"... :-)
