have to go with a kit such as APR or PES. Does APR or PES make any internal modification to the Garrett turbo? I can get a good deal on a GT-25 ball bearing. I figure I can get the manifold and headers from SPP, software from GIAC, injectors from somewhere, already got exhaust and intake. Anything else? thanx

PES does not make any internal changes to the turbo itself. You would be better off purchasing a kit that is already pre-packaged, to save yourself any hassle that may occur. If you have problems with the kit you are creating, you will be limited to the amount of service, which makes purchasing a kit worth the money. Should you run into problems.

However, whether or not you can actually obtain said software is a completely different story. Last time I checked, GIAC wasn't keen on actually selling what was listed as a "product" on their webpage.

APR's GT25 is not a standard GT25.

You might be able to build a big turbo kit, but it takes quite a bit of know how.
