What are the differences b/w m and ch ecu's? Different MY?

Default Well you can always flash a CH box to the code of your M.
You can also flash the M box to work in a car that came with a CH.

Default CH and M were both used in 2001-2001.5. CH and M are just the part # of the ecu
CH is just an updated version of the M box. You can use both in the MY's that they came in. The most important part is to make sure that the ECU is just recoded for the soft code as your stock ECU was.

What are you suggesting gets "flashed"? Yes, softcode but not the microcode prgm...

I thought somebody said once that CH was for cars with the ESP system. w/o ESP it doesn't matter?

Default I thought all 2001's came with ESP since it was not really an options
but came standard.
