Default Can somebody help me with this? I am trying to do the same thing...

Well I am getting a new Head unit and I want to move my climate controls down to where the ash tray is, I am having a few problems here they are.

I need to know what kind of paint to paint the plastic with?

I know I need to buy sheet plastic but not sure what kind or how thick to go?

Most importantly how do you bend the plastic to fit around the buttons up top? This is really perplexing me I just don't know how to do that?

Also how would I secure the plastic down since the stock screw locations would be hard to get at with the plastic in place?

If anyone can help me that would be really great, email me or post.

Thanks

some answers..
who ever made it, used OEM existing plastic trim with cutouts for buttons then he cut it to half, and added apoxy so the radio will fit perfect..
