Default Can someone run a CarFax please?

I'm not sure this is the right forum.

VIN: WAUED28D9WA168958
1998 A4 2.8 Quattro Sedan

Is there any way of telling whether this is a 98.5 or not?

Thanks,

Lee

Your first post should have been asking which chip is better.

Sorry if I have contravened forum etiquette, but I don't really have anything interesting or informative to post as I'm still working on owning an Audi.

Yeah, I bought carFax's 'unlimited' reports a while ago. What they actually mean is 'not unlimited'.

So I take it it's a no then. I saw several other posts asking for carfaxes when I was searching for an A4 buyer's guide. Thought it was worth a try.
