i have the checklist here...
tread depth
uneven wear
air pressure (they recommend 40psi)
lugs properly torqued
brake fluid
oil level
power steering fluid
no loose items inside car
spare tire secure
all trim fully secure
bike racks secure

hmm it depends on the techs they get for the event i guess.
<center><img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/5980/slipnslide.jpg"></center><p>there were 2 lines at the Chicago one that did tech inspections, one line did all that jason mentioned, the other just looked to make sure most obvious things were ok, ie tire pressure, no loose items under the hood and no loose items in the car.
