Can you reprogram an ECU from a TT to work in an A4??

Default Can you reprogram an ECU from a TT to work in an A4??
Both are 2001 and both have the 1.8T engine???

Default Sorry to tell you this but the TT is a VW like the Jetta and GTI
the only VW ecu that will work in your car is from a Passat.

Default Thanks Mike, my bro was looking into getting an APR chipped ECU from
a TT and putting it into his 01 1.8T avant. It was a good deal as far as price and all that but maybe not such a good idea afterall.

Nope, ECUs are not interchangeable between longitudinal and transverse engines
