Can you use the GPS Atenna as a normal antenna?

Why dont you think about how an antenna works rather than the fact that it is an antenna.
have you considered that the GPS works on a different frequency than for say FM or AM radio or even Satellite radio?

I know GPS is a whole differant thing but I was wondernig can you use the antenna from the GPS, like the ones S4's with nav, or is it just a nav antenna?

I don't understand...what are you trying to do?
Nav uses GPS. Are you trying to utilize the Nav antene with a different gps system. If so, it will probably work (I would verify frequencies before I bought anything though). The other thing you will have to look at is the connector. If the connectors are different you will have to be careful retrofitting something
