I heard that if you get Neuspeed Race Springs, after 8 to 12 months you would have to replace the shocks because the shocks will break on you.
H&R Race Springs, didn't hear any problems about them.

You sure about the Race-any...my H&R Sports are stiff as hell...>
I just got these on last weekend. They are coupled with the Neuspeed/Bilsteins with the adjustable perches and dropped me about 2" from my non-sport setup. These springs are way stiff. No body roll. No bouncing over bumps anymore. I would equate the ride with that of the 1990's Wranglers. Wheelbase feels much shorter and I am outdriving my all-season tires now without even trying to. My fear is that the Race springs from anybody are just impractical for the street (read way too stiff). Trust me...these H&R Sports are plenty stiff. I'm going in with the tool box this weekend to find all my new squeeks due to my stiffer ride.

I think H&R Sports are firm, but smooth, not "stiff as hell"
Just goes to show how subjective these descriptions are. We also just sold a '92 Jeep Wrangler, and my opinion is that the H&R/Bilstein setup on the A4 is much more comfortable and compliant than that rig!

Do these springs need to settle?..I've only had them on for 3 days.

I guess they could "settle" some, but maybe this difference in opinion is just a matter of perception and preference?

I have H&R Race w/ Bilstein Sport and I don't think they're stiff enough..(more)
Go with the race if you are into modifications, because most likely you're gonna want more. More performance, more stiffness, more everything. I'm pretty happy with my race springs, could be a little stiffer, I would totally hate it if I got sport though..too loose..just my opinon....
