Default Which Car should I get? (The debate continues...)

I recently had to let my 2000 S4 go, it had a GIAC, UUC, Borla Exhaust on it, it was badass, just too costly. I have been driving an 87 Benz 420 Sel, and I HAVE to have quattro again! I have decided that I would like an A4 because I can find them cheaper and there are a lot of options plus they are one of the most beautiful cars out there. I just can't decide on the 1.8T or the 2.8. I really want a 1.8T because I can upgrade it as I go along with APR Stage III+ or PES turbo kit as my final goal, plus there are TONS of options, but I would definitely put the PES Supercharger on the 2.8, also I would love to have a supercharged car because I have had turbo cars. I can't decide on an Avant or Sedan, although I haven't been able to find many manual Avants, so it will probably end up being the Sedan. I need so AudiPhile input!
Thanks

Default 2001.5 A4 2.8 Avant, manual, sport, quattro with PES G2 SC.

It'll give you the luxury of your S4 and close to the same output as a chipped S4....if you can be happy with that.

IMHO, it's more realiable than going with a big turbo kit on a 1.8T.

Default 2.8QM Avant with a supercharger would be badass

1.8T would be cheaper if you're worried about $, though.

Default Stick avants are hard to find, but they are out there...

it took me about 3/4 weeks of solid looking to find mine and it was the only one around. I settled for a car that wasn't perfectly ideal as far as options... but it was worth it for the stick...

if you have a more extended timeframe, hold out for the avant, they're more practical, there are fewer out there compared to sedans, and they're just cool.... aside from your friends asking if you're going to go with the other moms for coffee after dropping the kiddies off to soccer practice...

I'd go 1.8t Avant!!!

Default You could always try to pick up an A4 with Apr's stage 3 installed.

Seems like lots of them are going around already fully modded. Just get in and drive for a great price.
