Car Value Questions......Did a lot of searching, just need some expert comments
Here goes: my current situation....
I've got a 99 A4 2.8 man. quatt. it is santorin blue, has a tan leather interior, and wood trim. The interior is pretty flawless. This past weekend ended up in a fender bender type deal. It's got just under 55,000 miles. Neuspeed with Vogtland springs. Rs4 reps with brand new 235/45/17 tires.
Now for the value questions, how much would you guys say the car is worth if I were to sell it as it is siting my driveway right now. That would be with a damaged hood, damaged bumper, cracked right rear taillight, radiator and radiator support which need to be fixed, and a 4 panel keyjob across 2 left doors, 1 right door, and little on right fender? Honest here, just trying to get an idea.
Now figure I leave the bodywork as is but fix the radiator and support, how much will the car now be worth woudl you all say?
Third of all, if I were to get a hood and bumper cheap, get them painted santorin blue, fix the radiator, and not fix the keyjob how much would the car be worth?
In KBB I did a lot of condition tests and such and said it would be worth about $15k if I were to fix the bumper, hood, and radiator.
Last question is if I were to find a way to get $12-15k for the car, would buying a 99-00 A4 1.8t avant in manual and black with anywhere from 50-90k miles worth it? Obviously I'd want timing belt and such done but it would probably be stock causing me to re-begin modding with a chip and tint job at time of purchase. What do you guys think?
Last little sidenote, all you 99.5+ with the double din dash, how are you setting yourself up for aftermarket stereos because I'd transfer mine over but wondering how much of a problem it would be compared to the 99 single din. Does anyone make an easy generic faceplate or trim or something?
Thanks, hopefully you guys can help me in anyway

honestly the best way would be to determine value of the car if it were in
good body and mechanical condition and then subtract the cost fo each of those repair itmes to get value "as is"

yeah thats one way i did it but it seems high i kinda though
kbb value of my car if it were perfect is $17200 or so. subtract $2k for the keyjob at about $450 per panel times 4 panels labor and paint all included. subtract $1k for radiator job if it wasnt diy and done by shop. subtract $2.5k for bumper, hood, all painting and blending if done by shop. puts it at about $11,500 as is.
Does that not sound high? I don't know engine and mileage is pretty low for a 99 and perfect but still. As is I was thinking $10k was more correct but not sure.
