car wouldn't start after fill up

Default car wouldn't start after fill up
Had an issue with the car not starting this morning after I filled the tank with gas. Battery is brand new from december. I don't even think it was above 0 degrees when I filled the car this morning. Had to feather the gas pedal in order to get the car to crank over. Any ideas?

Default Was the engine running?
Car should be shut off when filling up...

little less than 1/4 tank always fill with 93 octane as well.

car was not running. I always turn off the motor when filling up.

Default I wouldn't worry too much about it if you can restart the car fine now.
and feathering the gas when starting the car isn't necessary in the A4's if i remember correctly.
