Caveat Emptor - Buying anything from other forum visitors
Just a suggestion...to those people considering doing business with any individuals on this forum. Be very careful in how you deal with purchasing something from someone who posts on anyone of the Audiworld forums..or any internet forums for that matter. People can profess to be something they are not. We had an experience about 9 months ago with a person with the handle "CREDL"...who took people's money and ran.
Any dealings you have over the web with individuals have certain risks associated with them...especially with private parties.
That is not to say you cannot have perfectly safe dealings 95% of the time. I personally have purchased tires from a forum reader...sold wheels and tires...and sold numerous aftermarket parts to people here. But, they trusted me because I am pretty well known here and we handled the purchase transactions in a safe and sane matter.
Anyway, I just saw a new crop of individuals coming up with new things to sell...and I just wanted to put a warning out there for everyone.
Be careful.<p><img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/AudiWorldPics/2000/steveshsig1.gif" border="0">

Yes, I'd be very wary if I'd never seen the person post here before.
I'd only deal with someone who has a good reputation on the forum. It's easy enough just to do a search on the screen name to see how active and/or helpful they are.<p><a href="http://registry.audiworld.com/audi/registry/details.asp?car=161"</a><img SRC="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/AudiWorldPics/2000/a4registrydl.jpg" BORDER=0></a>

Internet xactions
Good idea to set up acct with site like www.paypal.com. It's a free service to handle funds when buying or selling items. I use it for all buying/selling & won't deal with anyone who won't set up paypal acct.
