cd changer

The dealership claims they have to integrate my trunk cd changer with the current dash system. This sounds like two wires, 20 minutes and a $200 bill. What's the real story?

what year car?

with mine.. 2001, its an easy DIY job.. actually, just one DIN connector.. you have to pull up some of the carpet and the plastic in the trunk to get to it.. but you can do it -- also, don't pay pull price for it.. ask the guy who sold you the car to get it cheap or something.. make sure you set the angle selection per the insert before you install it.
