Default CEL on and no recognizable problems
I've only had the car for a month and for the last 2 days the CEL has been constantly on. I see and experience no issues or problems with starting, driving or other functions. I've been using Sunoco 94 octane since I've had it. Could this cause issues? Is there a self test I could do to find any ECU codes?

Default Find someone with a Vag-Com to scan the car for you. You could have
had a simple misfire which might have tripped the light.

Default As the others have said, step one is to extract the codes.
Sometimes a local auto parts store will scan the codes as a free service.

Default I stopped at my Audi shop to have the code(s) checked.
It was an 02 sensor. Just to confirm that it may be a faulty code (since there was an ancilliary sub code to the 02) we cleared the codes and are going to see if it re-appears agin. As of yet, no return of code on the 20km return drive home.
