<center><img src="http://tm-techmark.com/touareg/auxinstalls/audi-symphony-schematic.jpg"></center><p>I am trying to install a professional install hands free car kit for a Motorola V60t in my wife's S4 with Bose Symphony radio. I have done this job in my Touareg and a couple of other Touregs without any issues. But in the Audi, something is not going right.

In the Touareg, you can connect the mute wire and speaker audio wires to a plug on the back of the radio. In the Audi, the schematic on the back of the radio seems to indicate you can do the same thing (see pic below). Upper right hand corner shows mute and + tel/ - tel. But when I connect the audio, I get NO SOUND. The radio mutes properly but there is no sound. I am wondering whether there is something else I have to do with the radio? Some other wire to connect? Some initialization I need to do? Some VAGCOM trick I need to do? I have looked at the Ross-Tech site and this page: http://www.ibiblio.org/tkan/audi/radios/symphony.html
and I can't find anything.

I know the car kit is providing an audio signal because when I wire the external speaker it works fine. I don't know what the 15 is next to the MUTE in the schematic photo.

Anyone have any suggestions?

My car has the integrated phone(Analog so I never use it)... I wonder if I can just use the RJ45 w/ an adapter for my cell phone. Will it work like that.
