Default These guys are great....

I'm a novice to Audis and tuning (I'm 25). I just bought a one year old A4 1.8tqm and brought it to Champagne. I had read about them and a guy at Prestige Imports suggested them. Champagne and Prestige sponsored an A4 that took 2nd (I think) in the One Lap of America race. Very cool. Anyway, Larry and Neil were very good at dumbing down things for this novice. I had them put in the MTM stage 1, and plan on stage two in February. Feel free to email me with any other questions. We can also talk if you want to call after work.
Pat

Default Very cool.....

Thanks for the offer Pat. I just bought a '01 for the wife and I so addicted to the car that in order to save the marriage I am looking at buying a used one myself (jk - if you read this Tre). So my interests in them are two fold... for work that they may be able to do on the new ride - and because they have something for sale that I am interested in. Thanks for your perspective... it helps.

And I may take you up on that e-mail option... afterall I am a novice too (28 here)...

I don't know Ken, but the one service experience I've had with McDonald was one of my worst ever. I have to go back there tomorrow morning. I guess I'll see if they can redeem themselves.
Pat

Default I will be down there tomorrow at 9 in the morning....

dropping of the new one for tint... I will let Ken know that you are heading that way. Ask for him and let him know about the past experieince that you had. He is a great guy and he will do anything that he can to redeem himself.

Also, when you go into Service ask to deal with Tim... he has been there for years and used to service my VW - poor guy.... hehehehehe. I use to be all over those guys - especially him. Tim saw me the other day when I was buying the Audi and remembered me.... so kudos for that...

What happened that made your experience bad??

Default Agreed...Tim is "the man"...

I've taken my A4 to McDonald, because it's close to work. No real problems.

Also, Champagne has been great to deal with. I recommend them for non-warranty & performance work.
