Chattering wipers. Whats up with that?

Default Chattering wipers. Whats up with that?
I hate my 2001 wipers. they chatter like crazy. Any easy fix for this??

seriously, try putting a good coat of RainX on your windshield. Also works well on the side windows.

Default Faced the same problem. Here is what I did.
Clean the windsheild well with soap and water. I then sprayed on Simple Green to degrease it and get off all the gook. Then once the glass is really clean, a coat of Rain-X as suggested by BOOSTD. Do this twice an year and your wiper blades life will increase dramtically, and the chatter will go away.

Use a cloth soaked with dishwashing liquid and wipe the blades lengthwise with a pinching stroke.

Default Thanks for all the tips.. Maybe I'll just wax the windshield like I do on my race car..
Its just odd that a nearly $30k car can't have windshield wipers that work!
