I get off the highway this morning and I am in neutral and my car is idling at 15000 rpms. The car stalls out and when I restart the car , the check engine light comes on. My ICV was going crazy for a few minutes after that but the car otherwise seemed fine. I am pretty sure my ICV is busted since I have to clean it often. I ordered a new one. Is it safe to drive the car with the check engine light on?

As long as the check engine light isn't blinking it should be fine
