the whole reason that I bought an Audi is because VW didn't have what I wanted. I didn't want a GTI VR6 because for some reason I really like the 1.8T. But, VW doesn't currently offer ANY color that I like on the GTI. Plus, I wanted something with both CD and tape as well as the other niceties that you get with an Audi. But, according to the info on vwvortex, VW is on the move, upward in the world. How come Audis don't get a 180hp 1.8T standard, but VW does??? Why do VWs get a cruise control indicator light, etc.??? I am an avid VW fan(as the VW tatto on my leg would attest), but I am in love with my A4. Why Audi has decided to make the A4 more "plush", I'll never know. They've gone from a very sporty and tought looking car to a car that looks like it gained a few! If things keep going the way they are, VWs are going to be more appealing than Audis to the sporty drivers. What to do?????
