Default chipping
does anyone have 2001.5 1.8t with tiptronic that has been chipped... if so what brand would you recommend!!! any problems etc...

I've had Neuspeed and giac, and I stuck with giac. I love it. Juat traded up to a KO4 with a giac chip.

Default Yes, I have APR with EMCS in a 2001.5 A4 with Tip
Got the chip in late Oct. and in late Nov the car died on me. Had to send the chip back and they took care of the problem ASAP. Turns out they were getting a bad batch of modules. Haven't put the chipped ECU back in yet due to winter road conditions and upcoming service visit. Was great when I did have it in though.

With a socket to switch chips, about $550 I think.

i've a 2000- 15K miles, TAP chip, no problems... (speeding tickets don't count)
