chipping a 2001 1.8?

chipping a 2001 1.8?
I heard that the new higher hp stock 1.8 might cause a problem with chipping. Anyone know about this? If it can be chipped, will the gains producet the same results as a '00? If not, I'm running to grab a '00 before they're all gone!

New exhaust and ULEV certification may pose some problems...
and the HP increase / cost ratio for chipping the 2001 are more than likely worse than for the 2000... Assuming that the hardware is the same (which it is other than the exhaust system) you'll prob. max out at levels similar to the 2000 Audis...
If you wait a bit for more 2001s to arrive,, you may be able to get a 2000 for a great price
