chrome tips?
I have a 01 1.8T trip celb and was wondering where I can find the chrome tips That everyone seems to have. After seeing them, the factory tips seem unfinished and as if something is missing. My wife, for christ sake,is in love with them and she usually doesn't notice these things. Thanks for your imput, Jason.

Polish your stock tips, it's easy and fun!!!
Well, maybe not fun but cheaper than buying new tips. Just get some coarse (but not to coarse of course) sandpaper and polish that sucker up. I did on mine and someone actually noticed! Ok, it was my dad when i visited him but he still counts!

just go to www.clairparts.com and buy the $40 NICE tips
one of the best mods ive ever done (it would be a chip but my car is leased). no bolting down or drilling required, they hang on by friction. ONE WARNING though! Whenever you want to do anything to ur exhaust... make sure the car has been turned off for at least 3 hours, I made the mistake of going to adjust my tips after my car had been off for only 1/2 hour and I got quite a first degree burn on my fingers... beware!
