Chrome Window Trim
<center><img src="http://img242.imageshack.us/img242/5422/audi046ko6.jpg"></center><p>I'm not sure if I'm the only one with this problem. I just picked up my new 2000 2.8QT and although the paint looks mint, the chrome window trim looks faded and opague in a lot of spots.
Is this common?
What's a normal solution for this?
I was considering something similar to what travelling detailers used to provide to car dealerships years ago with altering the chrome trim to appear gold'ish looking.
Ideas, suggestions, comments?

Its not chrome, its aluminum. The best thing I tried was Adam's Metal Polish (#1 and #2)
I tried all sorts of things on it from Nevr Dull to vinegar. Mine was severely corroded, so it took some elbow grease, but Adam's worked 10 times better than anything else.

Mine's not corroded but just faded or opague looking. As though it's almost transparent in places.
