Cigarette lighter-2000 A4
I may have been seeing things but does the cigarette lighter have a red light when you turn on your lights. I'm not talking about the round light around the lighter but the little raised "bar" on top of the door when it is closed. I thought I saw that "bar" light up on a car at the lot..or maybe not??? Thanks for the info...

I don't think the bar light up but at the right angle I have seen a red glow around the lighter door. It seems that the red light ring around the light is always on when the lights are on (at least on my 99.5). Therfore you might have seen this glowing and thought it was the bar beening lite up.
