what is an icv? similare to a EGR? exhaust Gas recirculator?
co i know u need to clean you inlet side on vag diesels because of the EGR valve.
You can however use VAGCOM to alter settings so that the EGR valve doesnt work properly thereefore doesnt clog your inlet side with gunk.
bit long all i wanna know is what is an ICV?

I cleaned mine with carb cleaner and then lubed it with some spray
like wd40 or whatever.
it does need lubrication after you use something like carb cleaner which will strip most anything off.
