clear-coat conditioner, clear-coat protectant, and wax, what's the difference?
Saw one of those touchless car washes near my friend's house (chevron, I think), and they had a price board with options that included:
wash + clear coat protectant,
wash + clear coat conditioner
what's the difference between the two, and how do they differ from wax? Hep me pwease!

There is/was some class action lawsuit....
The basis was that these "protectants" and "waxes" are not really doing anything, instead people are being charged for a product that does not work as claimed.
