Clear Corners guestion.

No, don't do that!!
The procedure is only done on the newer moders where the corner is integrated into the headlamp unit. For, your year, the corner lamp is separate from the headlight and can be replaced with an aftermarket part. Here is a link to the procedure. It is MUCH easier and you don't have to "hack" your lamps.

Clear corner mod

I have used them and they fit fine. The only problem is that they are two silver comparing to the
headlights, but it is not a big deal + I've heard that after a little time they will blend in.

I have some I am ready to sell...
I have clear side markers and corners. They are not Bosch (Valeo), but they look great and fit just fine. Email me if you are interested. I bought them for $150 for all of them. Make me an offer. I've only had them about 4 months. (By the way, I am selling them b/c I am trading mine in for a 2001.5.)

Had them on my car until it popped out on the highway...
Yeah, I got a set off Ebay, not the Bosch units. On my way home from work, I noticed that my right signal was blinking real quick when I went to do a lane change. I assumed it was a burnt light bulb. So when I got home to check which bulb was out, I found that my front right corner marker was no longer there. Only thing left was the wire and harness but I lost the bulb socket. It also left two small marks on my fender from when it came off. So I put the stock ones back in and ordered a bulb socket. Now I'm back to factory specs.
My comments on them
- I didn't think the quality of the plastic was good
- as Maaliish mentions, does not properly match the whiteness of the headlight so I didn't think that they looked that great on the car anyway
- it came with two amber bulbs but they were not the right bulbs
- The clip for the front right corner didn't seem quite as tight as the factory ones. I had to use a lot of strength to get the factory ones off. That should have been a sign.
Oh well, lesson learned. In most cases, I believe that you get what you pay for and this was a case.
